The start of the next Ticket Sales Period for the 2014 FIFA World Cup™ has been moved to 12 March 2014 at 12:00 CET / 08:00 Brasilia time. As per the media release made by FIFA on 24 January 2014, we would like to confirm to you that in order to ensure that the Random Selection Draw process can be concluded in time ahead of the start of the next sales phase, it was decided to postpone the start of the next sales period by 2 weeks. Therefore the next sales phase, which will be on a First Come First Served basis, will commence on 12 March 2014 at 12.00 CET/08.00 Brasilia Time. This decision was also taken to ensure all applicants that requested tickets in the last ticket sales period are being informed if they have been successful or not before the next sales period starts. All applicants will be informed by e-mail or SMS as to whether or not their application was successful – either partially or in full – by 11 March 2014. Please be reminded, that during the next Sales Period Tickets will be made available on a First Come First Served basis. We would advise football fans to place their request as soon as the sales period opens as high demand is expected and tickets are likely to sell out very quickly.
